Session Start: Mon Mar 10 00:00:00 2003 Session Ident: #Exalted [16:16:50] * When we last left our heroes, they had found a small village which had the poor luck to have been stricken with a plague, along with a shortish, pale woman, who apparantly serves Darkness' Ruby In The Frost. We return to the heroes as they try to figure out what to do9 regarding the shambling undead horde. [16:17:05] ( ...nope. Can't. Fuckers. ) [16:17:07] ( I'm there, right? ) [16:17:19] ( Pretty sure, yes ) [16:17:25] (Yeah.) [16:17:51] * Kane looks at all the zombies. [16:18:16] ( Didn't the playtesters notice this problem? Am I the only one who has this difficulty? Bloody hell. ) [16:18:23] Can yah like... make 'em go dead again, `Theia? [16:18:43] * Nightwarden (CHBoucher@dialup-64.159.119.234.Dial1.Manchester1.Level3.net) has joined #Exalted [16:18:48] Take'em down and I can send'em on. [16:18:59] * Lenoria nods. [16:19:02] ( Sorta like Yuna, but more badass. ^_~ ) [16:19:10] ( And without the sequel ) [16:19:31] ( And without the dancing and the hymn. ) [16:19:37] * Kane tosses off his cloak, revealing his impressive orihalcon armor and Flsying Silver Dream. [16:19:45] * At the moment, zombies are beginning to leave the longhouse, and mill towards the central fire-pit. [16:19:53] "I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Sword." [16:20:19] So lets take 'em down!! [16:20:23] ( And Zenits can burn 5 essence to do Essence unsoakable aggravated damage to an undead, demon, or the like within five yards. ) [16:20:26] * Lenoria looks at all those zombies... [16:20:37] * Ximena readies her bow. [16:20:40] ( Hm. How many are there? ) [16:20:46] * Alitheia watches the zombies warily. "They don't seem to be attacking or anything... Lenoria, you know about the undead, right?" [16:20:54] * Nightwarden eyes the zombies, hefting his Grimcleaver. [16:20:57] I am quite familiar with them, yes... [16:20:58] * Deyton is rather happy he has had his swords at the relative ready since leaving the last town. [16:21:07] * Woman (CHBoucher@dialup-64.159.119.234.Dial1.Manchester1.Level3.net) has joined #Exalted [16:21:28] * Alitheia draws her sword. "What do you think, then?" [16:21:42] (At the moment, twenty, and more are coming.) [16:23:03] What they lack in strength, they more than make up for in numbers. However, I have something special that can be used to deal with them if we can keep their group from splitting up too much... [16:23:29] * Alitheia brightens a bit. "Oh? What would that be?" [16:23:31] I could probalby cut them all into bits relatively easily. [16:23:44] Do we like gotta take 'em down any speical way? [16:24:02] * Lenoria shakes her head. [16:24:20] * Deyton shudders uncontrollably and grimaces. "I don't like things that make like the living long after they should have shuffled along from this world and onto whatever else they should see." [16:24:57] ( Oh, uh, by the way, is it too late to spend a little XP on something that can be instantly increased? ) [16:25:00] And, verily, I like them leagues less when they're... pariahs. [16:25:02] * Woman eyes Deyton, but soon continues looking into the crowd of zombies. [16:25:15] (Not at all.) [16:25:23] ( How much can be increased? ) [16:25:28] ( Grr. Stupid index. ) [16:25:47] ( Fine. Raising dodge to 5, then, since it's favored. ^_^ ) [16:25:59] ( And I'm buying my thrid Melee speciality. ) [16:26:22] ( In, of course, Swords. ) [16:26:44] ( I like swords. ) [16:26:49] (I like swords) [16:26:58] So, does anybody have a better plan than "go cut them apart until they stop moving"? [16:27:01] I do... [16:27:04] * Lenoria walks in front of the group, then stands there. [16:27:12] * Lenoria watches the zombies carefully... [16:27:43] And your clevel plan "is"? [16:28:06] Yah, spit it out! [16:28:13] Sorcery. [16:28:33] Sounds like a superior plan. At least we don't have to... touch them. [16:28:35] * The zombies continue to file into the courtyard. Several are watching the Circle, some sort of intelligence almost showing in their expression. [16:29:17] * Lenoria focuses, making some sorts of signs with her hands, saying stuff in a quiet, focused, Sijanese sorta way, etc. [16:30:20] * Lenoria stops, then begins again, but a bit faster, though not as long as the first one. Finally, she thrusts her hands forward. [16:30:39] Die. [16:31:42] * Lenoria is immediately surrounded by balls of light which burst into existence instantly, which fly towards the zombies. They shape themselves into black, glassy butterflies soon after being launched. There are soon hundreds and thousands of them, flowing from above her and to her sides like a river. [16:32:59] ( Ah, Death of Obsidian Butterflies. ) [16:33:05] (Roll your Per+Occult.) [16:33:31] 7t [16:33:31] [7t->5 9 7 8 6 7 2] [4 Successes] [16:33:35] ( And then add your Permanent Essence to the successes rolled to get the actual number of successses. ) [16:34:02] ( That's 8. ) [16:34:06] ( total ) [16:35:14] * Lenoria is now engulfed in a brilliant bonfire of Essence, the caste mark glowing immensely. The light is reflected off the smooth, glassy obsidian surface of the wings of the butterflies as they fly by, scattering light in all sorts of directions. [16:35:39] * Alitheia stares in amazement. [16:36:07] * Deyton is equally stunned. [16:36:19] * The zombies are torn into by the butterflies, which tear through their putrified flesh as if it were paper. In seconds, all that is left of the village's population is torn flesh, twitching limbs, and the sickly sweet stench of rot. [16:36:20] ( Butterfly. ) [16:37:00] ( I could've done that. It just would've taken longer. ) [16:37:07] * Woman watches Lenoria cast her spell in silent appreciation. [16:37:32] * Lenoria lowers her arms, as the glow fades away, though the caste mark will likely be burned into the vision of those who looked directly on her for several minutes. The grass is cut extremely low now, and the ground is covered with obsidian shards. [16:37:52] Return to your rest, departed. [16:38:02] ( I considered doing that. :P ) [16:38:17] ... Impressive. [16:38:53] * Alitheia tries not to look to shocked, but fails. "That was amazing..." [16:38:53] ... No, utterly amazing. Completely, wholly, and through and through, shocking. [16:39:25] Well, they _were_ only zombies. [16:39:49] Who cares about the results? Darkest glass, butterflies of dark glass! [16:40:09] That was geat! [16:40:41] Do you...do...should I still burn the remains? [16:41:06] Feel free to. Though you should tread carefully lest you cut your feet. [16:41:35] * Deyton is thankful he has *very* good boots on. Expensive, too. [16:42:03] * Alitheia walks forward gingerly and carefully, to where the zombies were centered. [16:42:23] (So, since they're all hacked to bits, how much essence do I need to burn to send them all? ) [16:42:32] Actually, it might be better to save the Essence and just burn them normally. [16:43:18] Or we might not need to do anything, they've already been zombies... [16:43:20] * Alitheia turns around, looking at Lenoria. "Will they return as ghosts if we just burn them like that?" [16:43:26] * Deyton stands very still and waits for direction; never having dealt with zombies, its usually a good idea. [16:43:27] ( Will they, Cha? ) [16:43:44] ( From the description of Hungry Ghosts, they won't return if their bodies aren't relatively intact. ) [16:43:49] ( And they've already been zombies. ) [16:44:02] * Woman stands. "I thank you, suntouched. Purging this village has denied the Mask of Winters another outlet for his plague." [16:44:15] * Lenoria nods. "You are welcome." [16:44:24] (Yeah.) [16:44:44] (What Zer said.) [16:44:58] Burning them the normal way is quite acceptable. [16:45:00] * Nightwarden nods to the Circle, turns, and begins following the river again. "Farewell." [16:45:01] * Alitheia walks back from the corpses, then. [16:45:24] Nightwarden, I suggest we wait until the dead are attended to. [16:45:25] * Nightwarden (CHBoucher@dialup-64.159.119.234.Dial1.Manchester1.Level3.net) Quit (Quit: The difficulty in the occupation of pimpin' is exponentially more complexthan first beleived!) [16:46:18] ( I think it's safe to say he's gonna keep looking for his girl while we go after dog turd. [16:46:33] ( We can't help him find the girl? ) [16:46:49] Who did yah say you work fer again? [16:46:54] "Hm. Well, how rude, I say! How do you like that; we help him all the way here and help a city within a days journey to his own home, face down a horde of violent dead, and he strolls off. No thanks! Where's the just, polite, acceptable behavior in that, I ask...?" [16:47:24] * Alitheia calls back to Nightwarden. "I wish you luck." [16:47:33] * Deyton rants to himself, still unsure of what to do and following Nightwarden's exit with his eyes. [16:47:35] * He looks over his shoulder. "They have already departed, and you are here to purify their bodies. I must continue looking for her. I go now." [16:47:58] * He nods, and continues on his way. [16:48:36] Good luck!!! [16:49:01] * Woman turns to Ximena. "Darkness' Ruby in the Frost. I will likely return to her now, as you have finished my task for me." [16:49:02] * Lenoria nods. [16:49:18] So is she like... a not really bad deathlord? [16:49:40] ... not... bad.... deathlord... [16:49:44] * Kane looks very confused. @_@ [16:50:11] I think it depends on how ya define 'bad', Xi. [16:50:45] Not hurtin` people.. [16:50:52] Define people. [16:51:07] So it that a maybe? [16:51:15] She does not seek to show the living to their fate before their time has come, nor does she move against their kingdoms. [16:51:17] * Deyton rifles through his packs to find the flintstone he harbors in a pack. Is happy to find it intact and sharp, ready to be used, should the need arise. [16:51:36] * Lenoria nods to the woman. [16:51:55] ( "Deyton gets out his flintstone." ) [16:52:20] ( Let him be verbose if he wants, Zer. :P ) [16:52:27] (Yabbadabbado!) [16:53:09] ( Damn right! :P Plus, with how clueless he is, he may as well do something to occupy himself when the deathlord talk comes around. ) [16:53:10] (Besides, he gets stunt die on rifling through his packs this way.) [16:53:20] ( XD Sweet ) [16:53:25] Hm. Does she advocate the creation of soulsteel? [16:53:39] ( ... REally? Hm. I'll have to do more of that when I'm low then. ) [16:53:53] ( *laughs* ) [16:54:19] ( Hee ) [16:54:25] What is used is used. [16:54:58] ( What's that mean? She uses only soulsteel that already exists? ) [16:55:14] * Deyton looks up at mention of soulsteel. "Expensive stuff, that lot. Does your mistress trade in it, my kindest woman? [16:55:37] ( Dem: what needs to be done is done, so, by proxy, the answer is a shifty yes...? ) [16:55:38] The souls forged are no more aware of their existance than the metal in your own weapons. [16:56:16] Hm. [16:56:57] If it were not for that, I would immediately consider her an ally. However, I view her as above the ilk of the Mask of Winters. [16:57:33] Ah don't think we should be takin` on deathlords as Allys... just maybe people not tah kill. [16:58:48] I'd have to concur. If you can't deal with the rats, don't sink the ship, my father once said. If we have plans in one direction, let's not ally ourselves or endanger ourselves at the hands of a deathlord, I think. [16:59:11] Hm [16:59:45] Very well. But do not rule out the possibility entirely. [17:00:11] Ones such as us may find allies in the most unlikely of places. [17:00:54] * Deyton shrugs and adjusts his packs. "I do believe, my esteemed companion, that I'm not the only voice of our group. I'm not your leader, clearly." [17:01:53] Fer now, I think it's best we just part amiably. [17:02:22] Yah! Lets go! [17:02:37] * Deyton walks closer to the women and smiles. "Now, about the trade routs through this place..." [17:02:56] So let's deal with these bodies, and then get to tracking down this Canis person. [17:03:07] What about them? [17:05:08] (Whoops. Misread plural.) [17:05:18] They needa proper burial! [17:05:55] Oh, burials aren't the only way to deal with the dead. [17:07:04] (Hooray. Billy Corgan managed to get me a copy of the Cut-Ups sourcebook for OtE.) [17:07:20] I recall one old fellow in too much pain to live comfortably who visited Sijan who wanted to be chased off a cliff to his death by 2 score scantily-clad women, and left there on the ground that the story of his end might be told. [17:07:27] ( Yay ) [17:07:36] * Ximena looks oddly at Lenoria. [17:07:48] * Alitheia sweatdrops. [17:08:13] Sijan deals with the dead of almost all the places in this area. [17:08:14] * Deyton backs away slowly. [17:08:21] Odd stories are likely to occur. [17:08:21] ( Grandfather! ) [17:09:09] Then, er, as the expert here...what would you suggest, Lenoria? [17:10:35] Hm. Whichever was traditional in this area. We must simply find wherever the dead are laid to rest, then lay these people to rest in a similar fashion. [17:10:49] * Woman begins a quiet chant, and then her voice picks up, elevating to a crescendo. Finally, she falls silent, and thrusts her raised arms down. With the movement of her arms, her appearance changes drastically, gaining in height. Her hair becomes long and stark white, while her robes match, red patterns traced into them. On her face is a beautiful white porcelain mask, through which, a cold, black parody of the Twiligh [17:11:18] ( cold, black parody of the Twiligh ) [17:11:46] (Twilight caste mark.) [17:11:58] Well, that's certainly a sight which most of our ilk don't readily come across. I'm afraid I don't like this at all. Less than the dead ones. [17:12:10] Hm. I see we were once if the same caste. [17:12:13] * Lenoria extends her hand. [17:13:04] * Deyton moves away some more. [17:13:21] * Ximena looks confused and steps away. [17:13:25] * Woman extends her hand, and shakes Lenoria's. "Yes. Once." [17:13:34] Yes. [17:13:40] * Alitheia watches the woman silently. [17:13:49] * Lenoria moves her hand back to her side once the shaking is finished. [17:17:06] ... [17:17:28] Well, then. That's just lovely... [17:18:52] Tell me. WHat is your name? [17:19:20] * Woman 's words are muffled through her mask. "Tabie Dorn, Daybreak. A pleasure working with you, suntouched." [17:19:33] We never did get around to introductions. Apologies for the rudeness. [17:19:41] I am Lenoria Tomekeeper, of Sijan. [17:21:27] I understand, given the situation. [17:22:04] * Woman is now known as Dorn [17:22:09] * Lenoria nods. [17:22:35] Do you share our interest of repaying the slight the Dragonlings dealt to us, thousands of years ago? [17:22:48] * Alitheia moves near Deyton and speaks quietly. "Take it easy. There's nothing wrong with being sociable." [17:23:33] 'm Ximena Alumit. [17:24:15] * Deyton whispers, "You're telling me. But any lady who can sit back and watch those... things, and then suddenly alter her very appearance so as to show some bizarre caste mark... I, for the first time, feel uncomfortable. Do you think it will pass, Alitheia?" [17:24:28] I have found a new master, and a new goal. [17:24:29] * Gally (Gally@slip-32-103-231-18.ca.us.prserv.net) has joined #exalted [17:24:34] * Gally is now known as Xemina [17:24:43] I see. [17:24:48] Though it *would* bring me pleasure to see them pay for what they have done. [17:25:10] * Alitheia raises an eyebrow. "What, the first time?" [17:25:31] * Lenoria nods. [17:25:45] That is the goal of my companions. [17:26:03] As well as righting what wrongs we may come across [17:26:35] Yes. I shouldn't be tense around anyone. Socializing has been my life for a *long* time. [17:26:36] * Ximena (Gally@slip-32-103-231-81.ca.us.prserv.net) Quit (Ping timeout) [17:27:19] * Xemina is now known as Ximena [17:27:57] Then I wish you well. The world has changed, though, from the world that my mistress and her siblings remember, and I doubt the lost age will ever return. [17:28:38] No, it likely will not. But we should try to come as close to returning to those times as we can, for many, many great things were done. [17:30:25] * Alitheia grins at Deyton. "Well, get used to it. You're prob'ly gonna run into a lotta strange people from now on." [17:31:12] If even a miniscule fraction of what existed then could exist again, it would be worth it. [17:31:14] * Deyton nods sarcastically. "A great many thanks on your house for that invaluable help, Alitheia." [17:32:06] * Alitheia just snickers a little. "I live to please." [17:33:17] We walk two different paths, Tomekeeper. Do as you will, and fair fortune on your journeys. I will leave now. [17:33:50] * Lenoria nods. [17:33:54] I wish the same to you. [17:34:07] * Ximena watches quietly... playing with a bracelet. [17:34:18] * Deyton kicks at a stone before cheering up. "Yes, you and your friends seem to. At least we're away from here, soon. [17:34:30] I pray that we may never have to oppose each other. But if we do, we should keep in mind that it isn't anything personal. [17:34:44] * Dorn turns, and begins heading north. [17:34:57] Farewell. [17:35:23] ( Bwargh. Why did you make the Shy one talk? ) [17:36:11] ( We didn't. She wanted to. :P ) [17:37:00] ( We could've just, you know, let her leave when she said she was going to leave. ) [17:37:36] ( /me clicks a stopwatch on. ) [17:38:34] ( I see you have braces. I have braces too. ) [17:38:44] * Dorn is now known as NPC [17:38:50] ( XD ) [17:39:01] ( Beavis and Butthead. ) [17:40:00] ( .. own me. ) [17:40:49] * Deyton searches the ground for nothing in particular, so as to waste time while a decision about the bodies and the travel plane is made. [17:40:56] ( ^plan ) [17:41:40] ( /me clicks the stopwatch off. "Wow, no blargh." ) [17:42:22] ( XD ) [17:42:45] So, guess we should find the graveyard or whatnot now. [17:43:34] * After searching the nearby countryside, you come to the conclusion that bodies were left in the forests to appease the spirits of the woods. [17:45:51] Hm. [17:45:57] * I assume you, you know, do so? [17:46:04] ( Yeah. ) [17:46:09] ( Of course. ) [17:46:43] * So, with the corpses dead and buried, you're free to follow Canis. [17:48:18] Arright. I hope he hasn't been gone too long. We need to have a trail. [17:48:35] ( Hooray. ) [17:48:57] We can hope for the best. At worst, we'll have to look to a town for help in tracking him. [17:49:55] * Alitheia looks at Deyton seriously. "Him passing through another town is what I'm afraid of." [17:50:15] Exactly. [17:50:26] On the upside, that should make him relatively easy to track. [17:50:31] Follow the trail of death. [17:51:20] Hm. [17:53:22] We should hurry! [17:54:01] * Alitheia gives Kane a sour look. "You're a big help." [17:54:23] Not a pretty thought, but death is noticeable. Lots of death, anyway. If, by chance, you and yours were some sort of deadly creature of dastardly intent, which town would you look to? Lenoria should be of help; she's from this area on and off, yes? [17:56:52] Hm... [17:57:13] ( Cha, what's the most heavily populated area with piss-poor security in the area? ) [17:57:36] ( I would've expected "nearest villiage to this one". ) [17:58:12] ( Precisely, Zer. :P ) [18:01:52] ( ... ) [18:02:15] ( Just to ruin Yon's stats, blargh. ) [18:03:01] Hmm... [18:03:08] (How much longer we gonna go? I think Z made me sick.) [18:03:19] (and since we seem to have slowed down maojrly...) [18:03:20] ( But the point was for Dem to say it. :P ) [18:03:27] ( I'm talking with Charles) [18:03:44] ( Yeah... But take waht you can get? :P ) [18:03:45] ( hang on, I have to afk. ) [18:04:13] If he was looking for areas with high populations and low security, Nexus, Lookshy, and Great Forks are where to go. But only Great Forks is fairly close to ehre, at only a week's travel. [18:04:25] Nexus is about a month, and Lookshy is about two and a half months. [18:04:32] There's another minor village near here, though [18:04:43] ( HALLO I AM TEH TYPHOID MARY ) [18:05:39] Then we should go for the village, and maybe to Great Forks after that. [18:05:48] * Deyton slides his packs from side to side and motions in no particular direction. "Is the town on the way to Great Forks?" [18:06:35] Hm. Next down is maybe only a day or so from here. [18:07:09] THen lets go! [18:08:09] * Lenoria nods. [18:08:12] * Lenoria walks along. [18:08:15] I can see no other or worse recourse than that choice. [18:08:33] * Deyton trots behind. [18:08:45] * Alitheia starts to walk, then. [18:09:45] * Kane heads along. [18:10:23] * You get to the town. Inside, all seems to be well. [18:10:55] ( ... Something's gonna kill us. :P ) [18:11:55] ( Maybe we'll trip over a freindly Sideral who'll point us in the right direction or something. ) [18:12:17] * Lenoria looks around... [18:12:27] (No, I'm just speeding the plot along. You know, with Typhoid Mary wandering around turning people into zombies, I don't have much time to describe each and every little town you wander into. ^^;) [18:12:56] ( Which is GMspeak for, "Yes, you're dead." ) [18:13:31] ( /me kills Deyton. "Yes, you are." ) [18:13:49] ( I feel the love. *quiets down* ) [18:13:53] * Kane looks around. [18:13:55] * The town is thriving, with farmers tilling the feilds, and whatnot. If these people are infected, it's a terribly subtle disease. [18:14:07] Yey! we made it in time! [18:14:15] Unless he went in a differnt direction. [18:14:35] (Gtab: I'm this far from using the GM Lightning the next time you say that you're going to die.) [18:14:57] You don't have any kind of divinitory sorcery, do you, Lenoria? [18:15:20] * Deyton is, as per his usual, somehwere behind Kane and his Big Impressive Cloaked Armor. [18:15:36] ( ... Hey, Astrology is an Int + Occult roll. ) [18:15:45] * Kane is back to his non-magic armor and big concealing cloak by now. [18:15:58] * Lenoria shakes her head. [18:16:34] * Ximena ohs at Kane."Well... he'd go to the closet town wouldn't he? ... unless he figured the zombies would spead da plage on thar on.." [18:17:18] ( ... Which would require we know his star-sign. Bah. ) [18:17:37] Mayhaps he skipped this one in interests of taking down a much larger population further yonder on the way? [18:17:57] Or he could be travelling slowly. Enjoying himself. [18:18:02] Stopping to kill the roses and the like. [18:18:09] Maybe a townsperson may have seen him wandering. [18:18:19] Do we know what he looks like? [18:18:51] * Jex (l33tl3ss@AC8F315A.ipt.aol.com) has joined #Exalted [18:18:58] Ah bet he's not hard ta miss! [18:19:00] Nope. [18:19:20] With a name like Canis, can we assume he's of a dog-like nature? [18:19:39] Nope. Might just be like personality wise! Ah bet he looks human! [18:19:48] * Alitheia looks at Xi and shakes her head. "Dorn was a deathknight too, and she managed to look normal when she wanted to." [18:19:54] Probalby not, any more than we can assume Harmonius Jade is harmonius or made of jade. [18:20:07] * Ximena giggles as Kane talks. [18:20:14] That might have been sorcery. [18:20:32] ?me aahs and looks around with a laugh. "Nevermind." [18:20:37] But deathknights vary widly in appearnce. [18:20:41] Seems like people who go around killin` normally don't WANNA be missed. [18:20:45] A town like this isn't likely to get many travellers. [18:21:05] But they may have heard something from the other town... [18:21:12] * Deyton looks at Ximena. "That's how I saw it. He IS trying to spread the influence and banner of his liege, you know." [18:21:14] The two are close together, after all [18:21:49] * Rosefox (Kitsuki@dyn-164-202.paonline.com) has joined #exalted [18:22:08] S'true. [18:22:16] (Hey, Kitsuki.) [18:22:32] ( Yepyep, hello. ^^ ) [18:23:02] ( Hi, everyone. ) [18:25:23] * Alitheia frowns. "Well, should we check to see if any travellers've been through lately?" [18:26:13] Sounds like a good idea. Who should ask, lest the lot of us unnerve them? [18:27:23] * One of you asks. They haven't seem anyone come by in quite some time, especially not in the last few days. [18:28:03] ( NOTHING TO SEE HERE. MOVE ALONG. ) [18:28:14] ( *giggles* ) [18:28:40] ( We need a pet Sideral. "Oh, he's going to Footown." "Oh, thanks, Sideral Man!" ) [18:29:03] Futile, I suppose. Does this path point to Great Forks? [18:29:03] (Pretty much. The more time you people spend dropping in on charming hamlets, the more time Typhoid Mary over there spends prancing about and turning populations into zombies.) [18:29:27] ( Yeah, we just kinda don't know where "over there" is. >_> ) [18:29:30] * Alitheia sighs. "Dammit. What a waste." [18:29:56] I say we go back and try to find a trail. [18:30:22] Yeah, I can't think of anything better. [18:30:27] I'm with you. [18:30:38] Other than "tripping over a powerful divinitory artifact and using it to learn his plans". [18:31:24] * Alitheia nods. [18:31:26] (Make a Perception+Survival roll, anyone who's searching the area of the last town.) [18:31:41] 4t [18:31:42] [4t->3 2 9 2] [1 Success] [18:31:47] 4t [18:31:48] [4t->4 9 3 2] [1 Success] [18:32:08] ( Note to self - increase survival skill. ) [18:32:29] 3t [18:32:30] [3t->9 5 7] [2 Successes] [18:32:41] (hahaha) [18:32:42] ( Make a copy of that for me. ) [18:32:47] 2t [18:32:47] [2t->3 9] [1 Success] [18:32:52] 3t [18:32:53] [3t->6 7 8] [2 Successes] [18:33:09] ( We searched the fekk out of him!... I think. ) [18:33:26] ( Nah. I'm the Zenith, I'm SUPPOSED to be good at this. ^^ ) [18:34:07] ( Wai! Rolls! ) [18:34:23] ( Fine. Note to self - buy some talisman to make searching go well. Really well. Sickening mountains of mooooolah = talismans that have to do nifty things. :P ) ) [18:34:25] * Between the five of you, you manage to find a westward leading trail of blighted plants, similar to the ones in the courtyard of the village. [18:34:36] Poor plants! [18:34:58] (Yeah, if you want to throw your money away.) [18:35:17] ...well, that works. [18:35:31] ( Most of them are "crap" when compares to Solar-level competence. ) [18:35:34] * Lenoria frowns [18:35:50] * Deyton trots aimlessly in the general trailing direction of the pathway, in and amongst his companions at irregular speeds. [18:36:04] Well, let's follow the trail. [18:36:19] * Alitheia starts to walk along the trail. [18:36:52] * Lenoria follows [18:37:01] * Since Gtab needs to go soon, I'm wrapping it up now. Next session, Great Forks revisited. Session Close: Tue Mar 11 00:00:00 2003
