Session Start: Tue Jan 15 19:24:31 2008 Session Ident: #TD&DG * Logging for #TD&DG started [Three days. Three whole days on the road! Through the temperate and rather pretty light woods, along a well-marked road. Finally, however, the arduous journey nears its end: ahead, a river crossed by a bridge, with a sign cheerfully and ornately labeled, "Duchy of Orlan; 20 miles to Corlenn," lies waiting.] [What dread deeds have the heroes performed to survive? What dangerous foes and villainous hazards have they braved? ...what does that parchment nailed beneath the sign say? | Cast: Althea, Ierikc, Lidya, Stella, and Wurr. | Start!] Are we there yet? * Wurr goes to read the sign and block every one elses view. * Ierikc walks over to the sign and manages to get a peek in by being too short for Wurr to notice. What does the notice say, friend Wurr? No, and saying that won't make us get there faster. *printed neatly in common* Beware of bandits. Turn back and bring heavilly armed aid. --Elizabeth Gan * Ierikc turns back and looks way up at the orc. "Heavily armed aid. I think you qualify." Oh dear. My, my. Well, I can defend myself competently if need be, but I do not think I qualify as heavily armed. Things must be bad if the duke of the area is posting signs like this. I wonder hwy the bandits leave the signs up. Ego boost, I imagine. Maybe they don't care. Either that or they don't wander out here. Regardless, I'm not going to spend all day pondering the matter. * Stella smiles her cheerful smile. "Probably because good weapons are expensive and have high resale value." * Ierikc hmms. "You may have a point there." Sloppy, sloppy. * Wurr grunts. "I don't have all that much armor." But your arms do look heavy. It said heavily armed, not heavily armored. And she's right, your arms certainly look heavier than me. Ah, perhaps we can salvage good armor from a bandit, then! But come, shall we continue on our way? Sure Yeah, let's go. I'm tired of sitting here wondering if we're ever going to get there. [Not half an hour after crossing the bridge, the DM spoke down from on high, "Yae, give me spot checks!"] [The path is interrupted up ahead by a hole in the ground. As you get closer, it becomes clear that not only was this dug by intelligent hands, but that it was covered by a now-torn canvas.] Hold it. Hmm? * Lidya points ahead. "Trap right there. I'm a halfling. We know these things." Then go ahead and disarm it. * Lidya walks around the trap and examines it. * Wurr blinks and stops. "Do you? I'll have to use you to find them." Somebody already used the trap, though. Kinda like a divining rod, right? * Ierikc hisses amusedly at the thought. [The bottom of the pit is lined with spikes crudely carved from branches. A corpse of a raggedy human lies impaled on the spikes.] * Lidya starts working on disarming the trap. I was thinking more like a a batter ram finding a hole. * Stella pouts. "Oh, dear. Poor fellow." * Ierikc shrugs. Aw. He fell for it. [Lidya masterfully rigs up some branches from nearby trees into a bridge across the pit. ...though the pit is not so wide as to actually -block- the road.] Yeah. Hope none of you were fond of the poor fellow. Poor guy. We'll have to get his body back to town on our way back. I don't even know who that is. Lest some nasty guy animate it for his own nefarious purposes. * Stella nods. * Ierikc walks around the pit. "Hey look guys, I'm a halfling. I bypassed the trap." * Lidya walks along. * Stella hops over the pit and continues along the road. "It's so sad, really." [Good thing Lidya walked along, too. That guy in the trap is starting to smell kinda bad.] * Althea guides Shelby around the hole, I mean trap. "Think we should fish him out and bury him before the animals get to him?" * Wurr steps back takes a run and jumps over the pit landing with a war shout. "AAAAAAAAARG! ME HALFLING WITH GROWTH SPURT!" Anyways, if Lidya is as good at spotting traps as she claims, perhaps she shoul-... Hmmm. * Ierikc looks back into the pit and at the human remains, for anything that appears to be of value. [Ierikc finds a broken, low-quality ho, a ratty straw hat, some sturdy but ragged and old clothes (still on the guy), and a belt pouch filled with what one hopes wasn't the poor man's -entire- life savings of 8 copper pieces.] *hoe [The corpse itself is roughly on the early side of middle-aged.] * Ierikc shrugs and takes the eight copper. "Anyways, I think Lidya should lead us onward." While searching for traps, of course. * Lidya walks along and takes a mental ntoe of this place for later. I agree. I'm not likely to see the traps while guiding Shelby around. * Wurr nods. "Sure. Halfling party onward." * Stella nods and walks cheerfully down the road in her ratty clothing and too-big boots! Hold it. * Lidya stops * Althea nudges Shelby back into motion. "So, do you think we'll see any of these bandits out here?" * Wurr keeps looking around studying the scenery for...something. * Lidya observes a patch of the road. * Lidya does some work with the ground, and rolls up a piece of canvas covering another spiked pit. * Lidya puts the canvas away. "These will make excellent pants." Ah! Very good, Lidya. Thanks. You sew? * The spikes in the trap are stained with long-dried blood. Well, some are. Others look newer, and aren't. ... what'd they do with the bodies? Feed them to the animals? Probably took them. Tan them and make leather armor out of them. Why let good meat go to waste, right? * Lidya removes a bell from the canvas. This would have rung if anyone fell in. You wanna ring it and see who comes? * Lidya looks for bushes. * Wurr grabs his two scimitars. "Yes." * There are pleanty lying around. The forestiness has been thinning out since the river, and there are shrubs all over. Ah, well. If our plan is to stop bandits, then perhaps it would be an excellent plan. Well, let me go put Shelby a little away so she won't get hurt. Ideally if we ring one, we should hide and do so by throwing something into the pit. * Stella nods. We got a dummy corpse. * Althea rides off a short distance away to tie Shelby up nice and safe-like. I bet we could capture them. * Ierikc has quit IRC (Quit: ) ...caaaaa....aaaap..chore. *Says that like it's a foriegn word* It's when yuou beat someone up without kiling them. And then you can get information from them. Like where the money is. * Syzix has joined #TD&DG * Syzix is now known as Ierikc * Stella smiles. "And where the other bandits are. I am good at the beating-without-killing part." Kill them all, capture one. Oh. Pillage before burning. Quite. Find out where the rest are, then do the same. I got special way of doign that. * Stella beams. "It is an excellent strategy for stopping the bad men." And we are here to stop the bad people. * Wurr gives Stella and Althea a confused look. Not all problems can be solved via killing. * Lidya pulls out her sap and weighs it in her hand a bit. "Whenever you're ready..." * Stella pats Wurr on the shoulder. "Do not worry, friend Wurr! It will all be clear later." Yes, but a good amount can be. * Wurr grunts. * Althea pulls out a knife. "I think I'm ready." * Lidya goes to hide in a bush! * Stella bows slightly. "I am ready." Good... * Stella walks off to hide in a bush as well. She's not as good at it as Lidya. I'm not any good at hiding. * Ierikc wanders off to a hiding place. * Althea goes and tries to merge into a bush. "Ow... this one has thorns." * Wurr settles down into a large bush. * Ierikc manages to squirm around well enough that he's practically out of site. Those crazy kobold sneaks. * Stella settles into a bush. Her drab clothing, fortunately, doesn't attract attention well anyway. * Althea squirms around in a different bush. "Okay, I think I'm hidden." Can you see me? I can hear you. [It's not long before a troupe of 5 kobolds come walking up, utterly not trying to hide. They're speaking in draconic, and lower their voices as they get closer. Two of them break off and head into the brush, while the other three cautiously approach the pit. One of the two that broke off aims a tiny crossbow at Althea, while the other walks towards her, spear lowered. He's halfway trying to be stealthy. Sorta.] * Althea remains quiet while keeping her squirming to a minumum. * Ierikc stays still. [Lidya! The kobolds are all unsuspecting! Go!] * Lidya very carefully takes out her sling and hurls a stone at the Kobold pointing its crossbow at Althea. * The kobold takes it right in the head! The stone glances off of his scaley brow, which sheds some blood as the kobold's eyes roll up in his head, and he crumples to the ground, leaking red stuff all over the nice green grass and brown dust. [Wurr! Your turn!] ummm hrm Right Goign to quick leap out screaming, and then charge A assuming my nice co adventure will let me through ((Um, this goes in OOC, please.)) * Wurr suddenly does a flying leap from his hiding place lets out a battle cry and charges head first at one of the baddies that ain't him. He's learned the fine art of pointy end goes in the other guy as he skewers the poor lizard with one of his scimitars. * The lizard doesn't seem to grasp the point of being skewered, as he slips nimbly off the blade, and onto the ground, leaving only a fine smear of his blood on the blade. ...and depositing more onto the ground. [Stella! Go get 'em, girl!] * Stella flings herself from cover and lands a glancing kick on one of the kobolds. * Said kobold's head spins 80 degrees to the side, before snapping back. He hisses, surprised, adjusting his jaw with one clawed hand. The *crunch* as he snaps it back in place is sickening. [Ierikc! They're killing kobolds! Those monsters!] * Stella smiles cheerfully at the injured kobold and makes a 'come here' gesture with one hand. * Ierikc peeks out from his hiding place and loads a sling bullet, twirling and firing at one of the non-engaged kobolds. He ducks back behind the bush and tries to hide, but it's pretty obvious someone fired from there. * As the rock bounces off his head, the kobold rubs at the spot, and glares at the red-scaled kobold in the bushes. [Althea! Step 1: Find a...wait a moment...] * Althea peeks out of her bush and sees all the kobolds, she tosses the dagger in her hand at a random kobold and dives back into the bush, thorns be damned. * The dagger seems to like a section of the road more than whatever she was aiming at. It lands there. (I'm dangerous! Look out villains!) * The uninjured kobold charges Stella! ...and misses spectacularly as his spear almost catches on her hair, maybe. * Stella leans out of the way of the attack, still smiling. [Lidya! They're not flatfooted anymore, rogue-girl!] * Lidya scoots up closer to Wurr and loads her sling with a stone. She takes aim at the furthest kobold she can reach, gives it a few spins, and lets the stone fly! * Lidya does not hurl the stone. The previous statement suggesting that the stone would fly was an outright fabrication, designed to enhance your experience. [Wurr is up. Perhaps he will augment the truth. Or at least serve cake that is not a lie.] * Wurr moves and whirls both scimitars, one has to be a distraction as he easily skewers another one making it hit the ground. ~Your mommas sucked mammal tits!~ He'll insult them in draconic, why not? He's big, orc, and blue. * Apparently that is a horribly vile insult, as the kobold that got lightly bruised by Ierikc's rock takes enough offense to just up and leave. Quickly. ~Get outta here!!~ *as he flees* [Stella! You have a little buddy you just invited to dance, but he seems not to quite be ready to do so, yet.] * Stella flips around, swinging her fists wildly at the little buddy. Apparently she's having too much fun to care about winning. * Coincidentally, her little buddy decides that his part of the dance involves a complicated bit where he puts some distance between her and him. He yells something in draconic. Surely, ~Hey, wait for me!~ is a special call of affection in koboldese. * Stella swings at the fleeing kobold again, completing a round of uselesness! [Three kobolds lie bleeding on the ground, possibly dead. If not, they're certainly dying. What does Lidya do?] [We'll find out AFTER Ierikc and Althea take their turns. Ierikc first!] * Ierikc walks over to one of the downed kobolds and tries to stabalize him/her, if they are not already dead. * The one he's at is not dead! It's dying, but there's still time. * Ierikc rips some leaves, measures the kobold's pulse, and stabalizes him before the blood lose becomes too great. (Err, blood loss) [Althea! Your kobold buddy saved the less red kobold's life! There are two others here that are still staining the ground, and the two that ran away!] * Althea searches around in her clothes and withdraws another knife. "Good thing I carry two of these." [...right. Lidya?] They will return with more. If we do not catch them, we should move away from here. Wooooooow. They're far. Not that far if you are an able runner. I shall go. * Althea calls out from the bush, "Are they all dead or gone yet?" * Stella nods to Ierikc. "Do take care of our new guests. I'll see if I can keep the others from getting far." * Stella takes off in the direction of the running kobolds. They're still breathing. ( Retcon. ) * Lidya takes aim at one with her sling and hurls a stone. Worth a try. * Stella doesn't go after the fleeing kobolds as there's no point. She checks on the new victims. * The stone, remarkably, hits home, clonking the kobold on the noggin. He drops, flat on his face. His friend actually pauses, but, eyeing the cracked bullet, turns tail and continues running. [Wurr!] * Wurr storms over and moves "good lizard" away from "bad lizard" to tie the bad one up in ropes, nothing real special, but he's grinning like a kid in a candy stor...scratch that like the school bully that found the wizard wannabe when he's out of spells. [Stella! STEEEEEEELLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAA!] * Stella goes to fetch the kobold Lidya dropped. * Stella returns! with the kobold Lidya dropped. * Lidya hurls one more bullet at the retreating kobold. * Ierikc also slings a bullet at the retreating kobold and misses! * Lidya pauses for a moment after hurling it, and leans forward to see and be sure if she hit.... * Whatever it is that Lidya has as her secret, it's a beautiful technique. Her bullet lands neatly on the distant kobold's noggin, causing him to fall identically to his friend, six seconds ago. [Combat is over!] * Lidya twirls the sling a bit, and puts it away. * Wurr smirks and picks up the tied up kolbold. "We need info, yeeeeees?" * Althea peeks out of the bush. "They're dead, yes?" * Stella frowns at the kobold she's holding. "This one is still conscious." OH! That one will be more fun! * Stella puts him in a headlock for the rest of the trip. That ought to keep him from being a bother. * Althea crawls out of the bush with a few twigs in her hair. She pulls them out before going after her dagger that she tossed so elegantly into the dirt. Hey, someone get that other kobold. I worked hard to knock him down! * Ierikc looks at the unconcious kobold Steall is holding. Um, he's not concious. He's not bleeding, though. * Wurr sighs and turns back to the one he's tied up. He grins a bit and starts climing a tree with his prize still on his arm. * Ierikc looks up to what Wurr's doing. "What ARE you doing?" * Stella gently sets the borderline-conscious kobold on the ground. "A moment, and I will return with the other one Lidya felled." * Althea picks up the other dagger and hides both of them on her person. "So, what are we going to do with all these kobolds? We only meant to keep one." Thanks! Well, we could turn them in back at town. And have them executed there. Old Orc Game. Some one go that way and get thier treasures. I'd rather just leave them unarmed and unequipped while tied up. * Wurr starts tieing the rest of the rope his sleeping beauty is on to the branch of the tree, not caring if it's a great job or not, just something that will stick. * The kobold dangles, like a giant catapillar hanging in his coccoon. Awww. Well, Shelby might not like it, but we can tie them to her back and have her carry them to town. * Wurr slides down the tree grinning. "Can't wait for him to wake." * Ierikc hmmms and goes around, stabilizing all the kobolds. "Break those spikes in the pit and throw the kobolds in there after giving them a good bruising." Stella, the one you knocked out... He should awake faster than the others if you didn't do lethal harm to him. Tie him up so when he wakes up, we may question him. Well, since none of you are listening to me, I'm going to go get my horse while you guys decide what to do. * Althea walks off. I told you pretty girl to go that way and get the damn loot. If you aren't going to make me a sandwich at least fetch the gold. * Althea ignores Wurr because he never actually said anything like that. Well, we hold onto them and figure out where their camp is. * Stella nods and ties up the kobold who isn't bleeding. * Althea calls out from the distance, "Someone want to help me load these bags up? They're too heavy for me to lift!" I can try... * Lidya follows. But she's small * Stella nods. * Stella helps! * Althea is standing near three large bags of coins. Too large for her eight strength to lift. "How did they carry these about?" * Ierikc looks over there. "I'll help count those later." * The three bags are absolutely filled with copper coins. Each one is nearly as big as the kobolds. Anybody with a positive search modifier can tell the bags were dragged to their positions, not carried. * Stella hoists the bags up. "Perhaps they dragged them?" Definetly. * Ierikc goes about looting the kobold corpses. (well, bodies) ... hey, they dragged them here. * Wurr grunts and pokes his kobold pinata. I bet we could see where they dragged them from. I just wonder where they were dragging them To. I wonder why if there were five of them that they just didn't split the load more to make the bags lighter. * The kobold pinata sways on his rope-swing. You know how hard it is to find a bag that big? damnit. hate waiting. Also, kobolds believe in a tribe's well-being more than their own. If they are part of a tribe, they may very well have been sending the money off to them. [A few minutes later, a bell sounds in the distance. It sounds remarkably like a faint, far-off version of the bell that was rung to attract these kobolds here.] Doesn't that mean that someone else has fallen into a trap? Shouldn't we go help them? ... yeah! LEt's go! * Ierikc hmms. It might be a trap. Well, yes, that's why the bell went off. You may want to investigate if you want to make sure another innocent didn't fall for their trap. We have to go! * Althea hops on the back of Shelby. "Come on, let's hurry." * Wurr grunts. "Fine." They may be attempting to lure us into an ambush. And someone could be hurt. Are you willing to take that chance? * Althea kicks her heels into Shelby, and Shelby takes off running. * Stella frowns. "That is true." * Stella takes off with the others! * Lidya follows as fast as she can [A short gallop - or a moderate jog - later, the forest has thickend a bit again, and it becomes clear that the trap is -not- for them.] [Ahead, a band of four kobolds are assaulting someone caught in a net hung from a tree branch. Femanine cries of outrage turn to a cheerful (if vengeful) call out to you. She's noticed you. "Hey! Come on over here and help me out of here! I don't want to blow a good spell on these twerps! I'll make it worth your while!"] [One of the kobolds glances your way, and chitters at his companions.] [Start!] * Ierikc motions and, after a short prayer, he runs after the group. * Stella dashes dashingly after a kobold who isn't Ierikc! * Wurr grunts again looking around. * One of the kobolds jabs the woman lightly with his spear, holding it against her. "~Graix, help me hold her hostage. Kalikx, Friesc, screen us,~" he says in draconic. Switching to common, he calls out, brokenly, "Stand down or we kill her!" * Another of the kobolds, presumaably Feisc or Kalikx, steps forward, spear lowered menacingly. [Stella!] * Stella runs up to the kobold that lowered his spear and kicks him in the face. * His face caves in a bit, and a few sharp teeth cling to her oversized boot - which threatens to come off - as she pulls it out. * The kobold who threatened digs his spear into the trapped girl a bit more, and she yelps in pain. Blood trickles down the spear from the wound. "SAID STOP! My Common Not That BAD!" [Lidya! You're up!] * Stella smiles at the kobold. "No, your thinking that bad." * Lidya points her Fancy New Crossbow at a Kobold and opens fire, before trying to reload She die if no stop! *shifty-eyeing at his companions* * The halfling's pilfered crossbow bolt impacts one of the kobolds in the chest, just above the heart. He falls over backwards, looking vaguely surprised. [Althea! A fellow spellcaster is in the net, being bled by a kobold spear! What horror!] * Althea kicks her heels into Shelby, causing her to gallop at full speed. While mid-trot, Althea grabs a few pinches of colorful dust. At her destination, she chants a spell, causing the dust to turn into many plumes of color that fly out at the poor now-unconcious kobolds. Oh, and the captive too. * The kobolds are overwhelmed, and fall to the ground, insensate. The woman grins, "Wow! Excellent spell! Color spray, if I make my guess! Great job!" she says, swinging in her net. She tries to shift, and winces, yelping in pain as she tears her wound a bit. "...owww." [Combat time over! As long as the stunned/unconscious/blind/whatever kobolds are subdued before they can wake up.] * Lidya rushes in, putting her crossbow away, and taking out her sap. She goes about making SURE they're subdued. You okay, lady? * Ierikc runs over to the net. "Get her down!" * Lidya reaches for a short sword and tries to reach to hand it to her but she can't reaaaach because she's tiiiiiiiiiny. ;_; I'm...well, no, actually. I think I'm going into shock. But I'm alive, so thank you! Now if you could just get me down. * Ierikc looks up at the woman. If you get her down I can take a look at her and maybe treat those wounds. * Wurr shrugs runs over jumps up, blades flash, and the rope holding the net is cut. He lands neatly on his feet. * Althea hops off Shelby to see if she can give some more help. * Lidya puts her sword away * The woman meeps in surprise as the net falls open around her...and she falls with it to land in a heap on top of Ierikc! She groans, lying on her back. * Ierikc gets fallen down on. "... Warn me next time, will you?" That... wasn't very elegant. * The woman's kinda heavy. What is that dress -made- of, lead? * Ierikc moves around a bit, trying to get out from under the net and pile of human woman. [It's not easilly done, but it is done.] *groan* I think I'll lie here for a bit... * Ierikc rolls his joints a little after getting out, checking her wounds over. Good idea... * Her wound is actually pretty deep. But has -barely- avoided her vitals. That fall exacerbated it just enough, though. She probably shouldn't move until it's properly dressed. You should pay attention. * Lidya checks on the downed kobolds briefly. What were you doing out here all alone? She doesn't look healthy there. Someone should probably help her with that. I'd screw it up even more if I tried. I don't know much about this... ...stupid...bandits. Precautions insufficient... It is well that we came along to assist you when we did. * Ierikc dresses the wound and takes out his holy symbol: a gold disk with a miryad of different colors chasing eachother around on it. A draconic scale-like decoration encricles it as he mutters a prayer and places his hand on the girl's side. What Precautions? For what? Hm? * After seconds, she's looking better and more aware. After thirty, her wound is entirely gone, and she sits up, fingering the hole in her bodice. "...well, that's annoying. I like this dress." It seemed awfully heavy when you landed on me. It is a nice dress, but it's better for the dress to have the hole than you to have the hole. * Ierikc takes his holy symbol and places it back within his vestments. And I always take pleanty of precautions. A woman has to, you know. But my plans were insufficient. I'll do better next time! *puts her fingers to her lips, and whistles shrilly* * Lidya helps. Sometime during the process, she appears to pull a playing card out of the wound and puts it away. * A bat flutters down and lands on her shoulder. Oddly, his black coloring compliments the blue of her rather fancy riding dress nicely. She grins. "This is Bruce. He's a good boy. Oh! And I'm Eve. Eve East." She picks herself up and extends her right hand to whoever is closest. "Pleased to meet you!" * Ierikc takes her hand in his claw and shakes it. "Pleased to meet you as well. I am Ierikc-ssaerth, "the Dreamer." * Ierikc motions to the rest of the group. "And these are my companions. I'll let them introduce themselves, though." * The woman is about five years Althea's senior, and just a touch prettier, if not as well-dressed. "Honored, good sir. And thank you all again for your aid. Those accursed bandits stole my stuff, and THEN caught me AGAIN while I was trying to get to Corlenn to find help!" Well, we're trying to deal with these bandits in a more humane way. Although right now it's looking like we might just need to kill them." * Stella bows to Eve. "I am Stella Ohrensausen. Pleased to meet you!" I am Al... ena. I am Alena. Nice to meet you, Eve. Kill them? Holy dragonscales, that's a quest! But a worthy one. I'm Lidya! If they're all like that, I don't think we have much to fear as long as we're not rescuing young damsels in distress. That shouldn't be a problem, though. These are kobolds, not dragons. * Ierikc hmms. "I don't suppose you'd have any words of advice?" Like, don't go alone when there are mean kobolds about? Not today, though given time, perhaps. I am in your debt, but I have to ask for one more favor. It would seem a wise precaution to have guards to take me to Corlenn. I could find none to take me into the Duchy, but now that you're here, I promise to repay you when I find aid to recover my wares. * Ierikc chuckles. "Yes, that's a good example." That sounds nice. We have some prisoners to escort, though. * Ierikc hmms. "I suppose we can assist in that endevour." I don't see why we can't take both. * Ierikc goes about looting the bodies of the kobolds that have been owned. We can do both. Just wanna make sure she's okay with it. * Lidya checks the kobolds to see if we have any new prisoners. * Ierikc also salvages what's left of the net for rope to tie the kobolds with. * Althea lets the others do the dirty work. :) * These kobolds just have their spears, slings, and armor. ...though one of the slings is masterwork. * Stella nods. "We shall all go together, and be the happier for it!" Sure beats going alone. * Eve pauses, and pats her backside a bit, before looking relieved as she pulls a small notebook out of a pocket in her very full skirts. "Oh, good, it didn't fall out." Is there anything I can do to help? I'm not sure. I think they have just about everything tied up there. Let's take as many kobolds to town as we can. Maybe we can get more info out of them that way. * Ierikc patches up the other kobolds and nods to the group. "Tie'em up and let's head back to town. We've got some kobolds to turn in to the law." That's a lot of kobolds and three large sacks of coins to carry. * Ierikc counts. Yeah, but think of the free drinks waiting for us at the next tavern. I can carry one kobold, I bet Wurr can carry two, as can Stella. Heck, Wurr can probably carry three or four. We've done our work then, let's head back to Corlenn. [As the kobolds start to stir, they seem most upset at being too tied up to deal with the party at the moment. And then they see Wurr, and decide that being alive and quiet is better than the alternative. A couple keep eyeing Ierikc, though they don't say anything and cast their eyes downward when he looks back at them.] [Eve helps as best she can, but is mainly a font of exuberant advice. How useful that is remains to be seen. Eventually, all 9 kobold captives are either unconscious cargo or silently grumpy pedestrians roped into going wherever Our Heroes take them.] [Eve, fortunately, -does- know how to get to Corlenn, though she doesn't have any maps, as they were stolen. She'll gleefully help make some again, if anybody wants, though. As the sun gets towards mid-afternoon, the city comes into sight. Which means it's a good time to...] [End session.] Session Close: Tue Jan 15 23:21:30 2008
