Start of #TD&DG buffer: Tue Jun 24 21:15:05 2008 [17:12:53] * Segev changes topic to 'Game Info: http://web.umr.edu/~cej/Gaming/TD&DG | Another 120 exp from beating up elementals. And another 300 gp gem. Jessica has the other one, but you'll have to talk Althea and Jessica out of it if you want it as other than a bauble. #' [17:27:45] [When last we left our heroes, they had just discovered the kuo-toa lurking in the Myconid lair as if they owned the place. The Myconids are suffering greatly from the salt water flooding their home, and they are desperately trying to keep their nursery young from drowning. It doesn't look like they'll succeed. | Start!] [17:29:11] Ugh. Salt water and rotting fungus -stinks-. [17:29:18] So, how many of you can breathe water? I can't, so I'm not looking foward to swimming down into the lair of water creatures. [17:30:03] *looking at the Myconids* ...can we help them? They can't stay down here. [17:30:15] * Demota is now known as Lidya [17:31:18] Well, they're coming through here from somewhere. It seems like it would be as easy as finding some way to close the hole or plug the hole that they're coming through. [17:32:49] How hard would it be to transplant them? [17:33:56] Too hard is my guess. [17:34:08] I think that's what they're in the process of doing as we speak. [17:34:26] * Lidya nods.. [17:34:28] We better hurry [17:34:43] But they're not moving -far- enough. The water's already in here! [17:34:57] They're big mushrooms. They can handle themselves. [17:36:42] So... how do we close this hole? If we close the hole, they can't come through and neither can the water. [17:38:40] Well, the problem is probably somewhere in the water there... I don't know how we can explore it [17:39:38] The problem is that they're here at all. [17:40:28] How'd they get here? [17:40:43] Through the hole. [17:40:49] Keep up here. [17:40:50] When they were here to begin with, there wasn't a hole leading to the Shangin. [17:41:59] No, Ierikc, I'm pretty sure the hole was here before the fish. [17:43:25] * Ierikc eyes Althea. "What I'm trying to say is when the myconids lived here before, there was likely no salt-water seeping in. When the water came, the Shangin came with it." [17:44:48] * Stella frowns. "Sahuagin." [17:44:58] Fish. [17:46:03] (Shuagin. Whatever. XD) [17:46:14] * Bert wades over to the wall where the mushroom people are trying to re-plant their young as high as they can reach, and tries to help by pulling the ones that are lower on the wall carefully out, and handing them up to the taller mushrooms. "I think they need to get out of these caves." [17:46:18] (Sahaguin. :P) [17:47:46] Then get 'em out. There's a mine up higher. And a town. Mardeaux might not like 'em, but we can bully 'em if we have to. *shrugs* [17:47:59] These caves are going to be a wreck for everyone with all this water. Nobody can mine it, or live in it... or anything. [17:48:01] But the problem of the hole still remains. [17:48:57] Well, how's all this water under the mountain to begin with? [17:49:26] The mephits have mentioned a portal. [17:49:54] It's a hole. Didn't we already go over this? [17:50:15] Portal to place full of water. Water exits place to here because it's a place water can go. [17:50:56] Gotcha. Wizard did it. [17:51:44] Close enough, anyway. So, let's find a wizard to close the hole. My talents don't lead to such activities, so we might have to look elsewhere. [17:52:37] Ah, ah. Do we have any wizards handy? [17:53:06] Besides the one with us? [17:53:54] Yes, actually. Althea has already admitted to being unable to plug the hole. [17:54:46] Do we know anyone who can? [17:55:19] Hmmm... Floren might be. Her master most likely would be capable. [17:55:29] Good idea! [17:55:45] We should try to see if the town can help transplant the Myconoid young until we get this fixed. [17:55:57] Isn't Floren a guy? [17:56:41] This will take time, so it would be a good idea to get help for the mushrooms from the town. [17:56:49] Yeah! Let's get the town to help! Stay safe, myconids! We'll get you help and a place to stay! [17:57:01] * Tag rolls his eyes. "Is this -really- necessary?" [17:57:15] Yes. Yes it is. [17:57:16] *thwaps Tag* Yes! We have to help them out. [17:58:45] Well, we better hurry. [17:59:20] * Lidya looks to the Myconoids. "We're going to try to find osmeone who can get rid of this water. And maybe see if the town can help evacuate the young in the meantime." [17:59:40] * Ierikc glances around once or twice, then nods. "Let's get out of here." He starts heading out. [18:00:24] * Lidya follows along [18:01:54] Yes, I've spent more time in this hole than I wanted to. [18:03:10] [Back on the surface, the dwarves meet the soggy heroes. Bert runs immediately up to one. "You've gotta get everyone together and help the mushroom people get up to the town before the water in the mines makes them all die because the ghosts aren't ghosts but elemental thingies and we're going to try to get the wizard to fix it but the mushroom people need help now!" The dwarf seems bemused. | Resume!] [18:03:35] *jaw drops, then laughs in honest, big brotherly amusement* [18:04:32] Breathe, Bert. Breathe. [18:04:44] *catches breath* ...I know! [18:04:45] * Ierikc clears his throat. "What the young boy is TRYING to say is we need to get the Mycanoids out of there, for the time being, to higher ground. The solution to the problem is considerably more in-depth than we though, so it will require time." [18:06:01] And finding someone with skills in a field that none of us have. [18:06:22] * Stella smiles. "Ah, what a sympathetic and helpful young man." [18:07:02] It's a mess down there, we're really trying to do the best we can, but we might have to go for a wihle and by the time we get back, it might be too late [18:07:06] Um, alright. We'll help out. *eyes Bert* He's a bit energetic. Maybe he should to let the Mayor know we'll need a place to put them? [18:07:52] * Ierikc assumes the Dwarf said something reasonable instead of an incoherent sentence. "Yes, maybe he should." [18:09:25] ...I'll go with him. *mutters something about Bert getting way too carried away if allowed out on his own* [18:10:10] Let's go talk to Floren. [18:10:15] * CCD (CCD@24-171-8-3.dhcp.stls.mo.charter.com) has joined #TD&DG [18:10:30] * CCD is now known as Wurr [18:10:33] Yes, we need to get pointed in the right direction before we go heading off. [18:12:05] I'd rather not head off in the incorrect direction. [18:12:14] [ At Floren's place, the half-elf apothacary is sitting in a clean set of very soft-looking clothes, drinking something from a mug, when his mother leads the party (sans the two brats) in to see him in the living room. "Ah! Welcome back! The potions are done - six doses, enough for Tag and Bert each night of this month's full moon. They should hopefully keep them from changing." | Resume ] [18:12:55] * Wurr blinks and starts to grin. "Thank You!" [18:13:15] Excellent. [18:13:19] * Stella smiles and bows. "Thank you very much, sir." [18:15:24] I'm sure they'll be pleased. [18:15:53] Ooooh, excellent. Thanks! [18:16:19] Our work with the myconoids isn't over though, I'm afraid. They've got a bit of a problem, and we think that wizard you now might be able to help [18:16:49] If you aren't capable of helping, yourself. [18:17:08] I'll have to make more, of course, to keep them supplied in months to come, but there's plenty of time now. [18:17:39] As long as the mushrooms stay healthy and dry, that is. [18:17:43] Master Bruxon? Well, if you can get to him, I'm sure he'd help. What's the problem? [18:18:13] what do you mean If? [18:19:16] You'll have to sneak by those kobolds holding the Princess hostage. And...please don't let them hurt her. She's the Duke's only child, and she is dear to the whole Duchy. [18:21:07] I'm sure she is. [18:21:45] Finding Master Bruxon's tower won't be hard - it's just at the other end of the pass leading to the desert. It's just that the kobolds have blocked it off. I don't know why he's not come here, himself. He probably could have rescued the Princess on his way through. [18:22:20] Quite possible he has his hands full, or is too absorbed in his research to notice. [18:22:36] Or maybe he slipped in the bathtub and can't get up. [18:22:40] * Ierikc smiles as if remembering something. [18:24:08] *smiles sickly* I hope Ierick is right. [18:24:41] I hope he does to, but I like to present more options. [18:24:53] -does +is [18:26:39] Yeah... [18:27:34] Well, shall we be off then? [18:27:50] * Wurr looks Floren straight in the eyes, open his mouth, and suddenly closes it turning away. [18:28:22] * Stella nods, still smiling cheerfully. "Yes, let's." [18:30:02] Let's be off, then. [18:30:14] This will at least beat crawling around in a hole. [18:30:17] Yeah [18:30:36] I don't see what your problem with holes is. [18:30:57] They're dirty and damp. [18:31:21] * Ierikc takes a pair of black glasses and puts them on as they walk outside. "And?" [18:31:32] Not all holes are damp, mind. And not all are dirty either. [18:31:32] I liked that crawling around.... [18:32:09] * Wurr shifts a bit uncomfortably. "Floren, do you have anything to make me sneak well?" [18:33:38] ...Nothing that would last for a significant amount of time. I think I have some potions of invisibility, if you want, but they only last a few minutes. [18:33:55] I'll just settle for being quiet. [18:34:22] * Wurr looks down again. "Oh. Okay. Thanks.." [18:35:34] Hang on, I'll get you a few. How many would you like? [18:36:32] Er. How long do i have to sneak? [18:36:50] No idea. [18:37:10] For longer than a few minutes, I bet. [18:37:57] Well, if we really need it, it'd be great [18:38:52] * Ierikc frowns. "I don't think they'll be particularly useful, all told. Even with an invisibility potion, it wouldn't last long enough for us and it wouldn't cover your footfalls." [18:39:27] That's wht I was thinking. [18:39:34] Can they hurt? [18:39:47] I mean, they can only help as far as I can tell. [18:40:28] * Floren heads into his lab and is back shortly. "I can spare three, at least, if it will help. I'm a bit worried that Master Bruxon hasn't been in touch. And if you ca help the Princess, the whole town will be grateful. Not to mention the Duke." [18:40:54] Technically they might, but we can take them as a precaution. [18:41:10] * Wurr nods. [18:42:03] * Lidya nods [18:42:42] We'll see if we have use of them. If not, we can return the extras later unless you want to let us keep them. [18:44:23] That sounds good. [18:44:31] * Althea nods. [18:46:56] Will you be leaving in the morning, or now? It will be dusk by the time you get to the pass if you leave now. ...and we should keep the children here overnight for observation after htey take their potions. Where are they? [18:48:30] They went to see the mayor about arranging shelter for the mushrooms. [18:48:59] * Speaking of the devils, Bert comes crashing into the house. "The mayor'll help! He'll find them a nice place to plant on the surface!" Tag follows, shaking his head at the younger boy's exuberance. [18:49:27] * Wurr smirks over at them. [18:49:42] The mayor had some cool stuff. Anyway, I got the local kids to help with the move. Telling them about the elementals got them real excited. [18:49:48] Oh, hi Bert [18:51:02] Hi! I think we'll save 'em all! [18:51:23] I think we should rest for the night. I find myself exhausted all of a sudden. [18:51:34] isn't night better for sneaking? [18:51:54] I can't see at night. [18:52:03] Well, without a light, which defeats the point of sneaking. [18:52:30] Kobolds can see perfectly well at night, too. [18:52:39] really? [18:52:41] In fact, normally, we have a harder time seeing in bright sunlight. [18:52:43] That sounds useful. [18:52:49] * Ierikc smiles. "It is." [18:53:32] Oh. [18:55:45] Feel free to stay here. Mother always enjoys guests, and we need to watch the kids anyway. Speaking of... [18:56:20] Thanks! [18:57:36] That's most hospitable of you. [18:59:37] [ Both children balk at the foul-smelling concoctions - at least twelve ounces each - that Floren has brewed for them, but with cajoling from Stella and threats of mercilless mockery for being girly from Wurr, Bert and Tag (respectively) are bullied into downing them. And then they complain all night until they finally fall asleep. However, even with the moon full, there's no sign of fur growing on either of them.] [19:00:52] [Sadly, the same cannot be said for all of the children in town. Reports of wererats and dire rats are prevalent the next morning, so parents are worrying about their children. Bert and Tag have to stay with Floren, lest they miss their doses the next night, so the next morning finds the party at the entrance to the pass.] [19:02:11] [The pass is a large, square cleft cut in between two mountains, providing a nice, even, if upward-sloping walkway 100 feet wide with stark stone walls to either side. | Resume.] [19:02:39] * Wurr is walking along watching this carefully. [19:02:40] * Lidya takes in the sights. :D [19:02:46] * Lidya walks along cheerfully, but carefully. [19:02:52] Well, at least the paths are nice around here. I was fearing a rocky road. [19:04:26] * Ierikc makes sure Wurr is in front. "Wouldn't want your feet getting hurt, that'd be bad." [19:04:31] So, any idea where these kobolds are? [19:04:49] Around. [19:05:10] * Wurr wil lead as bravely as he an [19:05:11] Where would be a good place to put traps down around here? [19:05:21] * Stella walks serenely along, as always. [19:09:21] Places where the Kobolds aren't going to go that other people would? [19:10:32] * Wurr frowns. "you know something we don't, Ierikc?" [19:13:22] Oh, no, other than they're likely in ambush. [19:14:31] So, they probably know we're here? [19:15:07] * Lidya frowns [19:15:12] And you put me in front because...? [19:15:55] Because you take hits better than the rest of us/ [19:16:34] oh. Couldn't you lead around the ambush? [19:17:05] We could scare the ambush away. [19:17:37] * Ierikc blinks at Wurr. "I didn't say I knew where the ambush *was*. I just said they'd be lying in ambush." [19:18:27] those are two different things. [19:19:01] Well, we're talking loudly. [19:19:05] They probalby know someone's here. [19:19:16] We could be louder. [19:19:43] [As the party walks along, the slope grows steeper and the pass becomes less smoothly-hewn from the mountains. Pebbles and cracks become more prevalent. Voices echo eerilly up and down the passageway.] [19:21:06] * Wurr pauses and tries to listen. [19:21:30] Ew, I liked the road more before. [19:22:00] [The voices echoing seem just to be the party's own.] [19:22:23] [Of course, an orc might not realize that, depending on how much he's spoiling for a fight with unseen speakers.] [19:22:56] I can try to scare the kobolds away. [19:23:04] The echos will help. [19:24:21] * Ierikc hmmms. "That might work. Either that or it'll draw attention. Can you perhaps make a large noise with a spell?" [19:24:33] * Wurr frowns. "I think it's you down there." [19:26:17] Why, yes, yes I can. [19:27:57] * Althea begins incanting a spell, that, if anyone can identify a 0th level arcane spell, they can recognize it as Ghost Sound. Soon, the pass fills with the noise of many armored troops moving through the pass. [19:28:44] * Wurr looks around, grins, and lets out a loud battle cry. [19:29:04] * Ierikc grins. "That's exactly what I was looking for." [19:33:27] * Lidya tries to help out with fierce-sounding sounds. Which don't really work, because she's adorable and tiny [19:33:59] I'm not going to get my throat sore by yelling. [19:34:33] [The pass echoes with a deafening din; it almost sends shivers down Althea's spine, and she's the one making most of the noise. Within a few minutes, a brown-scaled kobold is seen scurrying off, having given up all pretense of hiding against the stone walls when the sound unmanned him.] [19:37:10] * Althea says "That was neat." Not that anyone can hear her. [19:37:56] * Wurr keeps his cry going [19:41:11] * Ierikc helps and does a better job of it. Maybe all kobolds do have the capability to be savages? [19:41:57] * Stella smiles cutely and is unable to scare a fly. [19:43:09] * Althea continues up the path, though, through the noise. [19:45:41] [The noise obscures the sound of massive slabs of stone peeling off of the wall and fracturing as the fall, clattering into the passage. While some of our heroes notice them in time to run to the other side, they cannot get out a warning fast enough to totally save their companions, who are left to dodge belatedly to try to minimize the impact of all the rocks!] [19:47:17] * Althea manages to dodge all the slabs just fine, but she's still upset now that her dress now has dirt kicked up into the air from the slabs on it. [19:47:34] * Lidya doesn't see the rocks. But she reflexively dodges completely out of the way, landing on her feet carefully. "You okay?" [19:47:36] * Wurr dodges away glaring at the rock. [19:50:44] * Ierikc manages to scurry out of the way of falling rocks, only getting a few light lumps. "And that's the problem with loud noises in a canyon. Still, better than the alternative." [19:50:57] [ One of the rocks has a rope attached to it by a piton, pulled taut as it leads up to the side of the wall from which it fell. A kobold ziplines down it, landing on top of the ten foot high stone. ] [19:51:00] it wasn't a trap? [19:51:18] You tresspass! Go back, or we smash more! [19:51:27] * Ierikc eyes the kobold. "Or that." [19:51:41] * Althea yells so everyone can hear her, "Didn't that work well?" Sadly, the spell duration ended halfway through her line, so she was yelling really loudly for nothing. [19:52:02] * Wurr looks straight at the Kobold. "Me smash, Me bash, Turn you into hash." [19:53:56] *looking back at Wurr with the sneer of a coward convinced he is out of reach of a bully* Then town smash for getting Princess killed. *whistles sharply, and a dark haired young lady slightly younger than Althea is dropped over the wall, to dangle from a rope tying her arms to her sides; her pink dress is tattered, but the most easilly recognized thing about her from this distance* [19:54:26] ... well, this isn't good. [19:54:43] How dare you kidnap a princess! You're not even a dragon! [19:54:50] Dragons kidnap princesses! [19:55:33] Kobolds like dragons! Good enough! *stands proudly, snorting at Althea* [19:56:31] You're nothing like a dragon! I bet you can't even breathe fire! [19:57:11] * Ierikc nudges Althea. "I wouldn't challenge them to that." [19:57:47] * Stella says nothing. Nothing. [20:00:19] *pouts* Have alchemist fire! *throws a clay jar at Althea, which explodes into sticky, burning pitch!* [20:01:59] * Althea panicedly starts trying to put out the flames. [20:02:28] * The kobold looks smug. "No go 'way! Or burn REAL princess, next!" he says, pointing at the dangling young woman. [20:03:10] Okay so what happens after that? [20:04:15] * Althea goes to speak up and then shuts her mouth and thinks about something for a moment. [20:05:03] Hey! Who can think fast! [20:05:29] * Wurr shrugs. "Go." With that he starts runnng to take a leap into the air for the princess, he'll prove he's a True Hero by double jumping. [20:06:27] * Althea starts chanting a spell that someone might recognize as Magic Missle if they've done their homework. She aims the missles at the rope holding the princess up as they go streaking across the sky. [20:06:49] * The kobold flinches, expecting the worst as Althea casts! [20:06:53] Go for it. [20:08:12] [The rope practically disintegrates under the impact of the missiles, at least in a 2-inch section of its length. Amazingly, that's quite sufficeint, and the princess starts to fall!] [20:09:23] * Wurr grabs the princess out the of air. "Girl doesn't get crushed, NOW what?" [20:09:54] * The kobold is still busy feeling his torso, wondering why -he- isn't dead yet. [20:11:25] Well, I think we take the princess back. And if this kobold puts up a fight, we defeat him soundly. [20:11:44] Who says he has to put up a fight for us to do that? [20:11:45] I mean, we don't have to kill him. He's not a dragon, so he couldn't really properly kidnap a princess. [20:11:47] Er, yeah. You go! Leave! Shoo shoo! *ducks behind the rock* [20:11:55] * Lidya waves at the princess! :D [20:12:20] * Wurr slowly puts the princess down when he lands, he unties her and then ungags her. [20:13:24] * The princess smiles weakly, and backs nervously away from the big blue orc. [20:14:46] Come on. Let's get out of here. If you want to kill it, Wurr, feel free. I feel no need to get rid of aggression like that. A well-foiled plot is its own reward. [20:14:59] That was easy. [20:15:36] * The princess continues backing away, looking around nervously. [20:16:07] Come on Princess. Let's go. [20:16:08] I'm Lidya! [20:17:18] And perhaps you can favor us with your name as we go down the path. [20:19:41] * Ierikc smiles at the princess. "They're not as bad as they may seem at first." [20:19:50] * Wurr pulls his weapon looking at where the kolbalds were shaking it. [20:20:23] Perhaps you should step back from her, Wurr. [20:20:29] She seems frightened. [20:20:39] Perhaps because you're not the knight she was expecting. [20:20:50] * The princess nods, grinning at Althea. [20:21:00] * Wurr then turns then on her and charges to smack the princess with his blade. [20:21:16] So, what is your... as, so it is as I thought. Good to know. [20:21:23] * Althea nods. [20:21:41] * Wurr blinks. "What do you means it is as you thought?" [20:21:48] * The princess crumples, eyes wide before she collapses, unconscious. A reptilian squawk escapes her lips before she falls. [20:22:00] * Wurr nudges the unconscience body with a boot, sighing. [20:22:11] There's a reason I was pressing the question of her name. [20:22:50] What's that? [20:22:54] * The kobold on top of the rock is busilly shimmying up the rope, hoping nobody notices him escaping. [20:23:03] The kobolds do not know it. [20:23:45] I left my crossbow on Shelby, and the kobold is getting away. [20:23:46] Althea, stop our friend, please? [20:24:36] * Stella picks up a rock and slings it at the kobold. [20:24:51] I'm out of spells with that kind of range for the day, and I already said I left my crossbow on Shelby. That thing is bulky. [20:24:58] Uh... huh. [20:25:44] * Lidya gets out her sling [20:26:13] Wait, I forgot! I forgot I prepared that spell again! [20:26:28] (Translation: Player forgot we rested.) [20:26:39] * The kobold plummets, bleeding from its side where Stella's rock broke three ribs. [20:26:46] I think we got it. [20:27:02] Good job, Stella. [20:27:05] Nice work [20:27:09] Saves me the effort of doing stuff. [20:28:05] * Althea walks over and picks up the dress and begins folding the tattered thing up. [20:28:47] * Stella nods, still smiling cheerfully. [20:29:00] * Lidya eyes the "princess" [20:29:02] * Althea casts a Mending spell on the dress after folding it up. "I'm betting they took this dress from the princess. I bet she'd like it back." [20:29:06] Yes [20:29:19] What do we do with this one? [20:29:32] * Stella claps her friends at Princess Kobolda. "Now now, you know that lies and deception are bad, yes?" [20:29:39] Back to town? [20:29:43] [The dress, like the kobold, was enhanced by the illusion. It's actually sized to -fit- the kobold. Or a girl the kobold's size.] [20:29:48] I think she's out for a while. [20:30:33] Actually, on second thought, I'm not sure it's hers. But we can find out one way or the other. [20:30:36] Later. [20:30:54] I'm sure there's more kobolds waiting for us after all this commotion. [20:31:06] I am not pleased [20:32:17] Don't worry Wurr. I'm sure there will be plenty of kobolds for you to slay. [20:34:19] [After a few minutes (and a bit of ministration by Ierikc), the princess "kobolda" is awakened. "Eep! Lemme go!"] [20:36:57] Any reason we should? [20:37:24] You also kobold? *hopefully* [20:38:07] * Ierikc speaks in draconic. "Of course, do I look like a halfling?" [20:38:09] HE has an angry orc friend that won't buy him booze if he does. [20:39:08] Then you let me go, 'cause you also kobold? *puffs under-chin out coquettishly* [20:39:43] I'm going to be so tired of kobolds by the time all of this is over, I think. [20:40:19] Now, if someone lied to you, would you let them go like that? [20:40:25] (err, in draconic) [20:40:57] *puffs out underchin more* [20:41:30] * Wurr smirks, in Draconic. "I can -fix- that and you." [20:42:58] "Might be a good idea at this rate." [20:43:46] [20:44:14] <...oh. Um... let me go anyway? Killing me won't get you anything.> [20:44:47] * Kobolda is trying very hard not to be insulted - or at least, not to show her umbrage at the insult paid by Ierikc's rejection. Even if she is nothing special. [20:45:16] I wonder if we can get her an honest job back in town. I don't think "act as bait" is a great job. [20:45:29] * Wurr shakes his head, his threats are being ignored and the sweet talk is getting to him. [20:47:53] Hey, Wurr, just how far can you toss a kobold? [20:48:07] [20:48:08] Town kill! No go town! Let go. Please? --eep! no let mean ugly woman have big scary orc throw! [20:48:56] Ugly! What do you mean, 'ugly'!?! [20:49:32] * Althea glares angrely at the kobold. [20:49:38] Ah, ah. It would seem kobolds have different standards. [20:49:42] --er, pretty? Mean, viscious, pretty woman? *cowers behind Ierikc* [20:49:43] * Wurr steps back. "You know, anything I do to her now will be relief. She's all Althea's." [20:51:31] I know you don't mean that. [20:52:21] Why are we keeping her around? [20:52:46] *looking at Stella* Nice lady not let mean lady hurt me, right? [20:53:08] * Wurr bursts out laughing as the Kobald calls Stella "nice lady". [20:53:44] * Stella continues smiling. "Ah, well. I am sure we can work out a happy ending if you are willing to cooperate." [20:53:48] [20:54:48] [20:56:47] [20:58:17] I'm mad at her, so I'm going to be over here now. If she begins to run, tell me and I'll launch a bolt of arcane might that will make her fall. Heck, give her a half minute head start. She'll need it. [20:59:06] * Althea walks away to tend to Shelby and make sure that no other kobolds have snuck up to take her stuff from the saddlebags. [20:59:32] * What saddlebags? [20:59:50] [21:00:12] * Oh, wait, those things. Sorry, I thought they were sleeping bags full of entire herds of sheep, with how stuffed they are. Seriously, what kind of sane person travesl with that much stuff? [21:00:15] * Wurr makes sure he's not between Althea and Kobolda, far be it from him to say Althea will miss, but he feels she won't aim much. [21:01:30] *gestures for Ierikc to lean in so she can whisper* [21:01:39] * Ierikc leans closer. [21:02:34] [21:03:04] * Ierikc nods and grins. [21:03:34] [21:04:14] * Ierikc keeps that quiet. [21:06:35] [21:07:34] [21:08:02] [21:08:47] [21:11:31] * Ierikc sighs. [21:12:19] [21:14:31] [As the female kobold - now naked after Althea stole her dress (thankfully, nobody but Ierikc can really appreciate the view) - makes her hasty retreat, the party is left to try to make their way further into the pass. At least they know the Princess Elizabeth Gan isn't really a hostage.] [21:14:35] [End Session.] End of #TD&DG buffer Tue Jun 24 21:15:05 2008
